Host: Science on the Bayou

Location: Adopted Dog Brewing, 329 Dulles Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506

Join us to learn about current research about the natural history and ecology of a charismatic study system in Louisiana, the Cajun prairie. We’ll learn about the science of how they tolerate climate extremes, where they occur, and what is being done to help conserve this imperiled ecosystem. The speakers will be Dr. Andrea Westerband, Assistant Professor in Biology at UL, and Brian Sean Early, Plant Community Ecologist, Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
