Location: Conservation Learning Center at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge, 480 Richland Place, Monroe, LA 71203

All existing and past members, and interested members of the public are invited to attend the Master Naturalist chapter’s Third Quarter Meeting 2026.

We welcome Gypsy Hanks to present on her work as a Wildlife Biologist at North Louisiana Refuges Complex in the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service where she has served for the past 28 years.

Prior to that, she received her Master of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Wildlife Science with an emphasis on Ornithology and a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University with a Minor in Forestry.

After the presentation, we will walk and photograph wildlife on the wildlife trail and enjoy the glorious autumnal scenery!
