Location: Fairview-Riverside State Park, 119 Fairview Drive, Madisonville, LA 70447

This activity is available on two dates: November 7, 2026 and November 14, 2026

Join the Interpretive Ranger for a nature walk to learn about and be inspired by the natural resources that make Louisiana special. As we take this short walk along the river, we will make brief stops along the way to talk about what plants, trees and animals we see and how these same elements of the natural world were used by the early native people who used to live here. At the end of the walk, we will create art inspired by what we see and what we love about nature!
